2002 Dodge Intrepid Engine Light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok... So I was on the way to work this morning and my car was running fine. I
drove about 30 miles and the engine light started flashing constantly. The car
drove fine but I pulled over to restart the car and see if the engine light would
stop blinking, since it had been blinking for about 5 minutes at that point.  I
went to turn the key and it wouldn't start. I waited about 30 seconds and it
started right up. I made it another 35 miles to work. After parking in the parking
garage at work, I cut the car off and tried to cut it back on and it wouldn't start.
The engine turns but it wont actually fire up.

The engine light has come on in the past, but briefly. Sometimes when I pull up
at a stop sign and press the gas pedal to the floor, the engine light would blink.
The engine is always on. I have about 157,000 miles on it...

I just had 3 cylinders replaced and the coil pack replaced about 3 months ago.
Radiator fan just replaced about a month ago.

Any suggestions? I read that the engine light blinking could be a misfire and I
should check the spark plugs out...

Sounds to me as if you are not getting fuel, I would check the fuel pressure at the rail.

The fuel line was replaced before the cylinder because it came off while I was on the highway...

You need to check the Fuel pressure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4F-EmwfJds
