Truck starts then dies

I was driving get to stop light and it stalls out. got it to start running again by using ether to get it started stayed on the throttle and got it home.  It is a throttle body injection system,  I have replaced the air filter the fuel filter, fuel pump relay, injectors and diaphragm, egr valve and given it a full tune up including a new coil. still stalls out when i get it started. the pump is electronic. I have not replaced that (yet), isn't it like the old manual ones where either it works or it doesn't? Could that be what it is or am I missing something else it could be?

Mines doing the same thing .replaced fuel pump . Filter,use vise scrips pinch off return fuel line . See if that works. Im doing ecm next.
