I'm interested in puchasing a previously owned minivan but the mileage is not listed. What is the reason for this?

What's the harm in asking? You can always look at your states emissions record website to see if it's consistent and makes sense or www.mycarfax.com is a free service for now that will tell any service history they can find, and they find more than you would think. Both sites need the VIN#.
