Ok I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum

Ok I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum an I went to the
store earlier today an came turned my car off then
went to turn it back on it kept making this clicking
noise over an over again so I put some jumper
cables on an it started then left came back an try
to crank it again an wouldn't start any ideas on
whats going on with my car I thought it my be the
alternator

Sounds like the battery. If in doubt do a load test and replace as necessary. Would not hurt to check the voltage coming out of the alternator as well.
