Check to see if the fuel pump runs, primes up when you turn the key to the on position. May not have power to the fuel pump.

The float in the carburetor may be stuck. It works on the exact same principle as your toilet tank. Your toilet tank fills up with water, the float valve goes up, and the water shuts off. In your carburetor the float bowl fills up with gasoline, the float inside the float bowl goes up, closes the needle and seat valve, and the gasoline flow is turned off. If the float gets stuck in the up position the needle and seat valve will be stuck closed and no gasoline can get into the carburetor. Try tapping on the top of the carburetor with the handle end of a large screwdriver. If that gets you going the float is definitely sticking. Try running a bottle of STP carburetor and fuel injector cleaner (black bottle) thru the fuel system on a full tank of gas. That may straighten it out. HTH. -Jim
