a five year old battery will waste a perfectly good alternator~ Get a NEW battery...clean the end of the black 1/0awg cable as it attaches to chassis ground with a coarse wirebrush....you'll be okay then~

Replaced cam and crank sensors , checked ASD relay , found problem in one coil on plug shorted out ! Try unplugging coils one at a time and see if you get anywhere .
