Hello, have a 2001 pt cruiser with a couple of mods and i need some help. i want to push this thing as far as it can go without Nitrous or a turbo or a supercharger (they exist). i have the basic intake and an amazing exhaust system. I'm mainly looking for things to increase the horsepower and torque, keep the heat down, increase shifts (its an automatic -_- i know - lame!) and maybe some simple body styling. please somebody help me!?!

dude i know it says you dont want to do a turbo or anything like that but the best/ only way your gonna make power out of that thing is to get your hands on the 2.4T engine they have in the newer ones. Its the same engine the have in the SRT4s but it was made into the PT Cruisers. So if you swap that out and get a good tune you will be running faster than you would be if you decided to keep working the engine you got now. Oh yeah and if you want to keep it auto you can cause the PTs came with that engine with an automatic transmission while the SRT4s didnt so youll always have the option of going either way. Sure they may not be the cheapest way to get power but it is the best that i can see from what you drive

yeah i figured that so im gonna start looking in junkyards for a wrecked 2.4 gt cruiser engine. thanks for the help.

first thing you gota do is swap your shitty motor to a b204g63lsjt motor good luck.
