car boogs down upon eccleration...

1979 928.....car is now starting fine,thanks to all who helped me I really appreciate your help.  I have one other issue that concerns me. car starts and idles. when I give it gas it
boggs down as if its getting to much or not enough fuel or gas!!! somewhat like a flat stop
in a carburetor. any suggestions.

You probably have a bad fuel pressure regulator.

Vacuum leak intake leak .incorrectly adjusted furl distributor( remove plug on top of air Plenum north of the Porsche crest inset a long ( 30mm long or 10 inch) 3mm Allen and turn left or right pulling up or down ever so slightly the car should tell you What it wants ,a volt meter on the o2 sensor is also helpful connection behind fuse panel door black circular plug with. 1 black and 1 white wire expose the connector pulling back on the rubber insolator boot it should fluctuate at a .5 volt TEST FUEL PRESSURE. All that info isn't squat unless you have correct fuel volume and psi
