my 2002 pt cruiser won't start

we switched out the  brain, it turned on and barley had gas so i went to the
store got gas and when i came back it wouldn't even start  again.

If it was that low on fuel chances are high that the fuel pump just gave up fromm running to hot. They use the fuel as a coolant that's why you never run less then 1/4 tank of fuel.
