Coolant cap spring broken can't remove cap

How to remove cap from coolant tank without damaging tank can't release
been doing for over year now will not come off

spray some PB blast under the cap if possible, let it sit, then use a hair dryer to heat up the cap. Use a large wrench to slowly open it, it should open. Don't jerk it because will probably crack the plastic.

if you are not comfortable doing that, let a mechanic do it so they will assume liability

To mark u sir are a genius I've been struggling 3days and was about to go pay someone I am an older lady and knew someone had the answer I only had wd40 d but sprayed tried sprayed again and slipped off like water on a well you know thanks again
