Cranks but won't start
I have a 2003 Ford Taurus that cranks but won't start. This happened about 3 years ago and it was the coil pack. I replaced the coil pack again this time but it still won't start. This started out to be an intermittent problem, start sometimes then won't start. Now it won't start at all.
Does ur fuel pump come on when u turn the key
No it doesn't, at least I can't hear anything. I checked fuses and replaced the relay. My next step I think, is to disconnect the line going to the fuel filter a turn the key on and see if I get fuel coming from the tank.
I did face this situation on my 2001 ford Taurus v6 OHV 3.0, and I always eager want heard fuel pump with henming which means let start engine for sure.... I did not know how to fix it and start car with confident
if I can heard fuel pump with henming, that is big surprise.... and car running as normal, so I am thinking fuel pump working good, Question is : some parts can stop fuel pump spin intermittent/ random ??? need help .....any tips I will to try and happy to share together.....
