ford australia never stoped making the falcon. There have been many models. The americans stoped making the falcon with the XR. The listed order of falocons is XK XL XM XP XR XT XW XY XA XB XC XD XE XF XG XH EA EB ED EF EL AU BA BF FG. Ford australia continued with the XT and so on. The XR - XY was the same chassis as was the XA-XC the same goes with the XD-XF the XG-XH are ute versions of the XF with e series motors the AU-BF use the same chassis and The FG is the latest model just released. The falcon was only sold in australia from the xa. XW and XY fairmonts could be found in south africa. The fairmont is a more upmarket falcon.

The Falcon is a Australia only model - they did send a BA XR6 over to the UK to test if they could export them there, however a UK limousine and hearse company, Coleman-Milne, is using the latest FG G6E series as a base for their hearses and limos.... but they cannot call it the G6E as Ford of Great Britain will not recognise it as such, so they called it a Fairlane!

The ford falcon,USA,was built from 1960-1970..They still build them,in Australia, and south America..
