Won't start and I doubt it's the battery

I was trying to access the batter to check the cables. I accidently touched the
engine control module to the battery cable and got a weird noise. After
successfully cleaning the cables and reconnecting the ECM, the car wont
start. The lights and accessories come on, but it won't start. Is it possible that I
ruined something like a fuse or a relay by touching the ECM to the battery?

your automobile has had it sounds like you have shorted out the ECM I assume it touched the positive and the ECM was still wired in you will have to take your automobile to a specialist to get this sorted.

Yes, you may have blown a fuse but I am not familiar enough with your car to answer you definitively. It is normal for the ECM to have fuse protection but you may have damaged the unit as well. Have it checked and fixed by a shop with the necessary diagnostic equipment.
