Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Howdy, I just bought a 58 Ford Fairlane. All of the lights (signals) ect work
except the two front headlamps. If it is a fuse. Where would the main fuse be
located to change. Thanks

Try Faxon Auto Literature in Riverside, California for a reprint of the original factory shop manual. They have a website. In the meantime, look for a fuseable link down by the starter. Check the usual suspects, bad ground, bulb sockets, etc. On many earlier vehicles there was a circuit breaker built into the headlight switch. The headlight switch and/or dimmer switch could be bad as well. HTH. -Jim

Check the earth on the dip switch make sure it's earthing properly. Other then that I put a light raeay into the system that fixed it.
