windshield cable sys. replacement

I am going to replace the vac windshield wiper mtr, but I don't want to use the
old cable drive cords. Does anyone have or know of anybody that makes a rigid
linkage or universal sys that would replace the cable sys.

Back when this car was new, guys just made things that worked. That's what car guys used to do. Today, you might look for an automotive machine shop or maybe someone at a Ford or Fairlane owners club might be able to help... For myself, I'd just keep it like it is.
