I have a toyota pickup 1989 22r 2wd 4 cylinder it will crank but wont start during the day at night it will start rite up i changed the fuel pump (has a mechanical fuel pump) changed the fuel filter

Try spraying a little starting fluid down the carb. If it starts the carb may need rebuilding. Check for spark at the plugs.

I tryed starter fluid and nothing ill check plugs. The funny part is that when sun is down it starts rite up but when sun is up doesn’t and it gets pretty hot where im at

Thanks a lot man disconnected on pug wire and started rite up it should be plugs and wires
