1964 comet ... using a falcon hood?

Can the hood of a 1964 or 1965 falcon be
used on the same years for a mercury
comet?

Thank you Ed I am most interested in how the front lip would line up as it comes down flat and then bends down towards the grill with about a 2-3 inch overhang. Would it be off in the front of more along the top and drivers windshield? Thank you
