what is the CD,GL symbols mean?

CD is Class Diplomat, luxury model, GL is Grand Luxus, which is the base even the name states otherwise. It states the model variant how much there are accessories & luxuries etc. For 1990 the models were the following: GL (=base), GLS (a bit more luxury), CD (most luxurious), GL 4x4 (4wd model), GT (sporty) and 2000 16V (performance version).
