Back fire through the air filter

My 79 280 zx back fires through the air filter
at low rpm and runs a little rough.

Check the air intake rubber tube from the air filter to the throttle body on my 79 it was cracked and did the same thing while the car is running try moving the rubber hose and see if it changes how it is running
