Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had her out for a drive today and started
up great. Idles just fine. Put her in drive
and she dies. Do they have a transmission
sylinoid? Carb? What's up?

When was the last time you did a tuneup? Maybe the carburetor is due for a rebuild but try some fuel system cleaner first.

New gas just had her out last week. Try to drive her every couple of days. Just had the carb cleaned and adjusted. Drive it home from shop last Friday and it was perfect. Drive to work this morning just fine. This afternoon on the way home started acting up. Fuel pump? Filter?

Maybe the accelerator pump needs adjusting. Is the idle speed too low?

Thanks. Just had it cleaned but maybe it could use a rebuild. Will look into that also.
