selling a car?

Asked by sahlman26 Apr 14, 2009 at 01:30 PM about the 2001 Acura Integra

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi, I recently got into an accident with my Acura Integra, 2001.
It has about 150K on it, no other damage, clean, ran perfect before the accident.
My radiators cracked and I need to replace, pretty much the entire front end.
If I were to sell it in this condition, at what price do you think that I could offer my car at?
Thanks!

much less than you can get from buying new parts (some sites sell body parts pre-painted factory paint colors) and repairing yourself... all you need is a haynes manual for even the most complicated work on these cars...

Yea your better off fixing the car yourself. i know locally a car with those specs would go for 3500-6000 depending on the condition and if its auto or 5spd. with the damage you would probably only get 2000-2500 which still isnt a loss but fixing it would be worth it. radiators can be found for $150 if you look in the right spots and they're not difficult to swap. as for the front bumper and headlights turn signals and markers they're mostly bolt off/bolt on pieces, not sure what they would cost you but agian, its an easy fix. but if you do decide to sell it as is list it around 3500 negotiable and see what offers you get.

not alot. I seen a 00 tegra that only needed the front end fixed due to rear-ending someone. It was a really nice car had a body kit and such, no engine upgrades. he was asking 1200 for it if that helps. props mate
