Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my kids and I went to the store. We shopped for
about 30mins, then as I try to start the car it starts for
about 20 seconds or so then turns off. I tried starting
it 4 time's then finally it starts, but I had to keep one
foot on the gas pedal and I put it in N til I put
everything inside. Then I had to drive the same way
even had to put it in N when I stopped or it would have
turned off.

lolz. i have a 1998 galant. and i tried all that u guys saying n nothing worked.... you guys wont believe what the problem to all ur engine failures are.......... there is a gas pump under ur back seat..... there are 2 things there to check. 1.. see if electricity is reaching the pump..... if not, its a fuse, relay or bad wire. 2....... if u get electricity, jus replace the fuel pump in the gas tank n start up and move again.
