What stops temperature gauge from working inside a 2001 Mazda MVP van after replacing the temperature sensor

In my MVP van I have replace the Master Flow
Sensor and the temperature sensor...My van still
hesitates when driving and my temperature gauge
was working now it has stop...What can be the
cause of that
