Manifold recall

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just reading your forum and I found out about the manifold recall... I bought my 99GT 35th anniversary edition in 2009 from Biondi Ford near Pgh. It was a trade in...Last Summer my manifold "blew" and it cost me over 1800.00 to get it repaired. It was repaired with genuine Ford parts, not aftermarket... Is there anyway I can recupe the cost of this manifold from Ford?  The Ford dealer I bought it "used" from did not disclose the fact that there was a recall and that it had never been repaired... the car had 70,000 miles on it when I bought it, but I "baby" this car and use it only on sunny days  and keep it garaged. Right now I have 73,313 miles on it...It is in wonderful condition all original (except for the replaced Ford manifold) and I have the mats as well... Thanks for any info on my question.

Just called FORD does anyone out there whose Mustang was recalled for the Manifold recall have the FSA# for this manifold recall... The representative could not find this information, but I know other owners with this Year make and Model of Mustang received recall notices... I was told there were "no Open Recalls" with my vehicles VIN... any info would be greatly appreciated.
