Will crack fly wheel on a 94 Silverado. Stop tranny
frm shift. Just had tranny rebuilt in March of 2016

Terminology incorrect, if you have a standard transmission you have a flywheel, if you have an automatic you have a flex plate. A cracked flex plate will not keep it from shifting, but the noise it generates can cause the engine management too do strange things, like knock the daylights out of the engine power, cause fuel mileage to tank are a couple of things that it can do. Plus the looks you get driving it due to the noise. Could be a internal pressure problem, solenoids stuck, TCM inoperative.
