backfiring and then when I pull over let the car sit it will
drive just fine I've replaced spark plugs, wires ignition coil
HELP! I'm a college student that needs to be back on the
Backfire is usually an indiacation of intermittent spark, and you have already replaced the coil so the next step would be the ignition module and pickup coil assembly, but be careful, sometimes replacing the entire distributor will be cheaper than replacing the indivual parts. Your parts specialist will be able to help you with this. And you don't have to stick with Honda parts either, aftermarkets have just as good a warranty as the dealer and a lot cheaper.
