No turn signals

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Ford E250 cargo van. 5.4. I have no
turn signals at all. Although when I press the brake
I can move the turn signal switch very slowly until
it hits a spot where the signal will light but it does
not Flash. But no break no light. I've already
changed the relay to the left of the brake pedal and
the entire switch on the steering column. I'm
completely stuck. Can someone please help

I hope you have checked the fuses first. Have you checked for power at the brake light switch? One side hot the other cold until you press the brake pedal then both sides should be hot. If not blown fuse or broken wiring, the signal switch should be feeding power to the flasher unit when switched on, if no power there then same thing blown fuse or broken wiring. Cargo vans may have two fuse boxes so check them both under the hood and inside under the dash or side plate.
