2015 CRV-EX-L Will Not Start

Asked by Jul 08, 2017 at 11:46 AM about the 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought 2015 CRV EXL new. About three months
ago I couldn't start it. I thought the battery may
have discharged since I had the tail gate open for a
few minutes. I jump started it and never had
problem again.
Yesterday, I went to garage to start car and nothing
happened. Radio and Accessories worked but
lights flickered like battery was weak. Tried to jump
start and nothing for five six times. Finally it started
with jumper cables. Drove it 26 miles, stopped and
figuring all was well, I tried to restart it. Again,
nothing happened. Took out jumper cables and got
some help. It started after six tries. I drove it straight
to dealer and guess what, they could not duplicate
problem. Dealer stated all well including battery,
starter, alternator, etc. All checks good. I went
ahead and changed oil, rotated tires and came
home. All works as advertised now but I believe
there is a glitch somewhere. This is my 8th Honda,
3rd CRV, and the very first time I'm having problems
(not counting Tire Pressure Indicator Light
repeatedly on). Pissed off Honda aficionado.
