Car not accelerating.

Asked by Jul 09, 2017 at 09:18 PM about the 2013 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After giving standard oil change to my
2013 Subaru Legacy, I turned the car on to
cycle the new oil through as usual with my
routine. I instantly seen the AT oil temp,
brake, and check engine light up as well as
the cruise control flashing.  It's starts
making a wierd noise and when it warms
up then it goes down. I decided to take it
for a test drive and during there was a lot
of shaking of the engine between gears(
which has never happen) and the noise got
louder. I brought it back home right away.
Next day I emptied the oil thinking it was to
much or too little with another batch and
still the same results. Today I turned it on
to check it again for the noise and it wasn't
really there. So I tried to test drive it and it
wouldn't even accelerate that much after
going 1 block. I brought it back home right
away and I'm thinking of having it towed
tomorrow to my mechanic. Does anybody
have any explanation or resolution to this?
