When I go to start my truck the starter cranks but
wont start the engine. After several attempts it
does. Tried spare set of keys same result.
Could be a defective fuel pump. With each start attempt, the pump builds up more pressure and eventually there's enough to start the engine. Instead of trying to start the engine, turn the key to ON only and leave it for ten seconds. Then turn it off. Repeat this three times. This allows the pump to energize more with each try. Then try to start.
