Switching from non-ethanol to ethanol gasoline?
I live in Alaska and am moving back down to the continental US and bringing
my car with me. In Alaska, all of our gasoline is sold ethanol-free - something to
do with the extreme low temperatures, I believe. When I fill up again down
south with "normal" gas, will that hurt or affect my car in any way? I'm having a
hard time finding information on this topic. Thanks!
Your gas mileage may drop a bit but you don't need to do anything to use E10.
Changing fuel will not hurt a thing. All that you will notice is a very slight drop in fuel mileage and lower prices.
