Loud high pitch noise in the dash of my 04 ranger.

I recently installed a light bar over my
windshield. Now there's a loud high
pitch noise that seems to come from
the dash. It starts at 25 mph "lower
pitch at this speed." At 40 mphit get
to I high pitch sound like a
harmonica. I've tried disconnecting
the fuse to the light bar, but no luck.

Any ideas on what is going on?

Take the light bar off and see if the sound goes away, if could be setting a harmonic as it cuts through the air and it telegraphs down to the dash area. I remember a vehicle that I put a roof rack on then the customer complained of a howl right at 35 mph, said it was in the back seat, anyway long story short moving the forward crossbar back a few inches cured the problem, it was just the air flow setting up tone that focused in the back seat, wierd I know.
