Dealership won't sell vehicle advertised on car gurus for listed car gurus price
Why do dealerships list vehicles for sale and won't
sell them for the advertised car gurus price?
Dealership is mandating a $1500 warranty for
12,000 miles? I don't understand why that is not
listed on car gurus.
An extended used car warranty is an option for you to buy. Often offered by an outside company. You're paying for the peace of mind that if something breaks you won't have to pay for it. Oftentimes one or two covered repairs exceeds the cost of the warranty. But it's not something you have to buy. It's your choice. HTH. -Jim
Well we left the dealership tonight saying if they agree to sell the vehicle for the advertised price we will purchase..... they brought out papers with it included we drew a line thru and signed with the correct pricing etc walked out saying call us if you change your mind.
Good for you!! Very glad to hear that!! Some people get very emotional and just have to have a specific vehicle. You did the right thing!! Thanks for letting us know too!! -Jim
Very disheartened will not be using car gurus to shop for vehicle. It's a scam with the dealership to draw in customers. It's unethical!
Very sorry you feel that way! Please understand that cargurus is an advertising website and it's the dealers themselves who create the ads and set the prices. Very similar to websites like carsforsale.com or Craigslist. HTH. -Jim
Yes dealerships are unethical! It's really bait n switch.
