Is the Ready light on the dashboard supposed to stay on while the car is moving?

Yes it stays on once you push the start button and turn on car until you turn it off again. I have owned the XLE hybrid for about 9000 miles now. Love it! Handling, mpg, comfort, redesign etc and came out of my loaded Avalon Limited.
