2012 passat: turn signal not working

Asked by Sapphire_613 Jan 13, 2017 at 11:19 AM about the 2012 Volkswagen Passat SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My left rear turn signal isn't working; I've read for older models the signal is
related to the hazard lights and a new relay switch is needed. Is the same true
for newer models? The dashboard is different from the older models.

There is a hazard flasher and a turn signal flasher separately. You may just have a burnt out bulb so check the bulb.

check like on the socket and if there is no light on it. try to find where the wire have fault or pass wire from the Side that is working and join it with the side that is not working and see if it on like that.
