According to the research I have done the tow capacity for a Jetta 2.5 with automatic transmission is 1094 pounds. 1500 pounds would be to much weight and could cause problems.
I have a 2006 Volkswagen jetta with manual transmission and I'm wondering if it can tow a wellcraft boat that's about 1300 lb
I am thinking of buying a small jet boat and trailer should be around 1,500 pounds and need to know if my jetta could pull it.
