Misfire and tbs codes

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi guys!
My 07 Gmc sierra started feeling
like it was misfiring, the service
traction control and stabilitrack
light came on and check engine
light started flashing. We hooked
it up to the code reader and it said
2 cylinders were misfiring plus
had an evap code and the TBS
sensor code. My mechanic friend
replaced the plugs bit that didnt
help at all. In fact it seemed to
make it worse. My friend went
through and checked all of the
wires, coil packs, fuel injectors
and whatever else goes along
with that but everything seems
fine. I did however have a guy who
did my plugs a few yrs ago tell me
it looked lime something chewed
on one of my wires but my friend
said he doesnt think that is the
problem. We hooked it back up to
the code reader and more misfire
codes came up. My otjer friend
came over and loomed and said
that my spark plugs weren't
gapped! We fixed that so now
back to the 2 cylinders misfiring.
My other buddy told me he thinks
it could be a sticky valve or a
blown head gasket! My truck has
no signs of that and ive never
overheated it. I believed it could
be the tbs sensor because it feels
like its not getting the right
air/fuel mixture bit then again why
would it be giving misfire codes
and saying to service stabilitrack?
It starts right up every time but the
idle is rough and when i put it in
drive the check light starts
flashing again and the service
traction control comes on. It also
clunks when it shifts from 2nd to
3rd.  Im so confused! Please
help!?
