why does my catalytic converter light show up BMW 320 i 2007 after doing an oil change filter change

these things are fragile...the wire leading to them is a critical component...a lot of inexperienced do not know that they shouldn't be bending or tampering with the wire comin' out the back....you oil changer bumped or otherwise damaged that 02 sensor....now the computer is getting false readings of the amount of Nitrogen and Oxygen in the exhaust stream....just buy another and the light should go off....if not there are ways to reset the light once the proper repairs are affected....~

perhaps the sensor at the catalytic converter was damaged...NOT the one up front near the oil filter...would have to test...physically looksee if anything's been damaged....there's been a lot of ICE in the roads...y'know....would just take a small shard in the right spot to take it out of commission...ya gotta inspect that~
