Brights on my 2010 lincoln mkz

Asked by Odin7199 Oct 15, 2019 at 10:11 AM about the 2010 Lincoln MKZ FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently changed out my battery on my 2010 lincoln mkz
and now the brights will not come on.  The switch works, the
dash indicator shows they are on but they are not.  Why
would this occur and what can I do to rectify this situation.

Often when you changed the battery you blow a fuse. There is a separate fuse for high beams that might be blown, or it might be a damaged relay.
