2008 Lexus IS250, changed bulb, now car stalls in idle

Asked by Cassidy Mar 17, 2020 at 03:58 PM about the 2008 Lexus IS 250 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Shop guy was changing out the bulbs on my Lexus IS250, and of course it
was under plates with brackets and behind the airflow system. So he
unscrewed everything and found the bulb, switched it out, and put everything
back... Now my car won't idle and I called and asked lexus and they said I
forgot to plug a sensor back in and that's why my car won't idle. I just need to
find the location of the sensor... Any help? Please and Thank you

I looked up how to change a light bulb on youtube and one thing that might have gotten unhooked was under the main engine cover and we didn't take that off, so we are going to check again.

He might have messed with the mas airflow sensor if the air box was removed, or the intake hose is loose and sucks in air after the airflow sensor would throw off the fuel mixture.
