Shift Solenoid

My check engine light came on so I connected my
scanner and it came up as the Shift solenoid I
bought the part but can't seem to find where it
goes .
Where is the shift solenoid ?

A shift solenoid is internal to the transmission. You need to remove the bottom pan and valve body to replace. Just because the code indicated the shift solenoid was detecting a problem, isn't always the case. Have a transmission shop diagnose your issue, and give them the part.
