My 2008 Pontiac G6 abs and traction control light keep coming on.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had my car for a year now I keep up with the
maintenance and everything but for some reason
my abs light and traction control light come on at
the same time. Sometimes it comes on right when
I start my car and others while I'm driving. When it
flashes on while I'm driving my brake pedal
underneath my foot jumps as if I hit a patch of ice
and my brakes aren't catching and this happens on
a nice day. So I can't blame it on any weather
condition. Also I know my front struts need
replaced and I'm getting them done soon. I
assumed that my abs light came on because my
brakes but they are brand new, I already had an
alignment and I know after I get my struts replaced
I'm going to need another one. I don't have a clue
what's going on all I know is it's scary to have that
happen when I apply pressure to the brake and it
jumps under my foot and my car kind of slides to a
stop. Please help me.
