Help getting my car started

Asked by Jul 26, 2017 at 07:23 AM about the 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 dodge avenger . and I hope all
of what I'm about to tell you makes since
and leads me to getting me car started At
least one more time so I can make it back to
my home town and worry about putting it in
the shop for what the issues may be. Ok it
started out with my fuse box not sending no
power to the ignition and radio fuses
actually to about one third of my fuse box.
So what I was doing to start my car was run
a wire from my positive terminal to inside
the car and touched the hot wire to the
ignition wires in guessing what they were
and my car would turn over. I would still
have to hold my key in the crank position for
it to start. Then after about 2 days of doing
that I had another issue that accrued during
this starting process , the anti theft light
started flashing inside the car on the dash
and car would not start so I googled it and it
told me to take off the negative batteries
terminal and put it back on and also told me
to use my other key. Which I dud and it
started. It was fine for about another day
still having to start it with the straight hot
wire. Then something else happened. After
trying to start it for longer than i was having
to in the past . and word no bus came up
under the odomiter. Now ever since then i
have not been able to get it running. It did
start up a couple times and then shut right
back off. Well I was told to take the terminal
loose and try to reset things again which i
did. No luck with it starting. Well now I no
longer see the no bus light anymore but the
anti theft light has returned and I've tried
everything in my power that is with the little
bit of knowledge I do have about cars. But
cannot get that blinking red light to go off on
my dash and if I'm not mistaken my car will
not start until its not what I need to
do is get my car started today even if its a
one time start fix. Because I'm in Florida and
once I can get it started and get back home
to Georgia I have a warranty that its covered
under. Don't have money to get towed. So
can someone help me in getting my car
started please
