No car alarm but key is magnetic

Hi do I need my car alarm in order
to turn on my car 2006 infinity g35
but the key is magnetic

The alarm reads the key signal, some are RF, some are magnetic, some are resistive, that signal has to match what is programmed into the alarm before it will allow the vehicle to start and run for more than a few seconds.
