Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Saab 9-3 turbo. I replaced the
battery October 2018. The check engine light
came on about a week ago and was going to take
it to the mechanic but it didn’t start.

We jumped it and it stayed on and it died later. We
got the battery and the alternator tested and the
battery held a charge.

They tested it and said there is a short circuit but
don’t know from where.

Fuse?? Electrical???

Thanks for the help

You have an electrical short somewhere, and they aren't easy to find. You need a mechanic with electrical abilities to find it.
