Saab throttle pedal positioning sensor going out

Asked by Oct 13, 2019 at 12:42 PM about the 2005 Saab 9-3 Aero

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay I just bought the Saab 9-3 Aero 05 had a
couple of days after I bought it and the check
engine light came on in the car started to stumble
I check the code and it said it was the throttle
pedal position sensor I went to the junkyard I got
another one and it didn't work now while the car is
cold I've cleared the code in the codes not coming
back on and the car is running fine but I know that
once it gets warm it's going to kick back on again
so is it something other than the throttle pedal
position sensor that could be going bad that's
causing the pedal sensor to go out because if
that's the case I need to figure out what that
problem is that's my issue
