I have a 2007 VW Convertible and the alarm went off in the middle of the night. I shut off the alarm and locked the car, but it did not 'Beep' to let me know it re set or was ok. So I went outside checked all around the VW opened all the doors and trunk locked it with the key remote lights flashed but did not 'beep'. I even read the manual and did the door lock button. But still can't get it to 'beep' when I lock it with remote or key. Perhaps a new battery in remote? or its a fuse? thanks
