Can I replace a 3.4L V6 in a 2002 Buick rendezvous with a 3.4L V6 from a 2005 Rendezvous? My initial thought is yes but i would like to have a second opinion to be sure.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous that the bottom rod bearings went out in. My
parents have a 2005 Buick Rendezvous that has been crashed (not the front
end) and totaled by the insurance company. My parents are thinking about
buying the car  back from the insurance company and taking the motor out to
put in my 2002 Rendezvous. Is this possible? Both have a 3.4L V6.
