Oil leak

Asked by Aug 12, 2017 at 04:54 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I ran over a curb on the passengers side of
my 2000 impala and now it's leaking oil from
somewhere over the front tire. The oil pan
was not affected. Where could the oil be
leaking from?

Could be transmission fluid. Have a local garage get the car on a lift for inspection. Don't drive it too far until you get it fixed.
