2005 dodge 1500 dying

Asked by Aug 06, 2017 at 06:16 PM about the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 ST Quad Cab SB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My dodge has died twice in me and I'm not sure
what rhe problem could be. It had new plugs and
wires. New intake temperature sensor. This has
fixed all the problems I've had before except for it
dying on me. The first time it died i was backing up
when I stopped to put it in drive it died. Started
right back up no problem. The second time it died
It was a cold morning just got done raining. I was
heading down the road and it started to cut out a
little so I went to turn off the main road and it died
almost causing an accident. It started up no
problem and drove fine back home. I'm not sure
what the problem could be but I think I could be the
throttle body. When we changed the plugs and
wires we looked and it had a lot of buildup on it my
buddy sprayed the front side clean and we left it at
that. I'm not sure what it could be  this if anyone
has this problem or has fixed this problem let me
know what you've tried.
